Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is Argentine and Scottish English heritage. Her mother has Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six after which the family relocated into Victoria at the time of London. According to Taylor-Joy the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. After 16 she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
