Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. Her fame grew during the final decade of 1970 and in the early 1980s with continuing roles in several television series, in which she usually presented a glamourous image. Fairchild's acting career started in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. After appearing in Dallas, where she portrayed Jenna Wade as the very first actress in primetime and then moved to the NBC show Flamingo Road. For this role she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama. Fairchild also starred in ABC's short-lived show, a primetime drama Paper Dolls. Later in 1985-1986, she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild was involved in the theater, and in appearances on television shows including Roseanne Cybill, Friends and Murphy Brown. For the former, she was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award.
